Employee Training in Six Core Areas that Build Solid, Synergistic, and High-Performing Teams

Inspira Mythology provides employee training and soft skills training programs based on six core competency areas — used by companies to build employee competencies in a measurable manner within a competency ecosystem that works together, resulting in a truly aligned and productive team.

The Dangers of a Haphazard Training Program

Is Training Ineffective?

Many employee training programs and employee training programs have no impact, not because the material is bad, or because the trainer is not good enough.

Often, the reason is that training topics are chosen based on assumptions, not analysis. Training topics are chosen based on trends, vendor suggestions, or intuition, without a clear connection between the material and its objectives.

As a result, training that is good on paper, but does not prepare employees and teams for changes in the workplace.

Our 6 Core Competency Areas of Training

Each employee training and soft skills training program we design focuses on one or more of these six areas, selected based on a needs analysis, not a list of popular topics. These six areas themselves are based on a list of Core Skills for 2030 from survey research WEF (World Economic Forum)

Area 1: Personal Effectiveness & Self Awareness Training

Self-Understanding Training and Collaborative Potential Development

This is the foundation for all other areas of employee training—and the first area of soft skills training we design. People must understand themselves: their way of thinking, their strengths, their values, and the blind spots they aren't always aware of before they can communicate and collaborate effectively.

Training programs in this area help employees understand each other's work styles and learning preferences, identify personal strengths and areas for development, increase productivity, and build consistent and positive work habits.

Applied MBTI®, or Lakon, is the primary tool we use in this training. The MBTI helps employees understand their personality types and those of their coworkers in a real, actionable work context.

Area 2: Training Communication, Empathy, & Listening Skills

Interpersonal Communication and Public Communication Training for Teams

Employee training in this area of communication addresses the root of workplace conflict. Nearly all workplace conflict can be traced to the same root: ineffective communication.

Employees often communicate in ways that don't always align with the needs of those around them, leading to repeated miscommunication, conflict, and collaboration failures.

Our employee communication training program helps participants understand different communication styles within a team and how to adapt to them.

Developing active listening skills, receiving and giving constructive feedback, communicating across generations and personality types, and conveying information in various forums.

Area 3: Leadership and Influence Skills Training

Leadership Training, Leadership, and Building Influence

Within our employee training framework, effective leadership is not about position, but rather the ability to move others towards a common goal.

In an increasingly complex and multigenerational work environment, effective leaders are those who understand their own natural leadership style, how to adapt it, and are able to inspire teams with diverse characters.

Our leadership training program helps participants develop authentic leadership styles, the ability to inspire, influence, with different natural leadership styles.

Integrating MBTI and personality theory so that every leader can lead from their personal strengths for more effective results.

Stop Wasting Resources
on the Wrong Training

Most organizational challenges stem from a lack of team synergy, which masquerades as training issues.

Stop guessing your organizational bottlenecks and team training needs.

Team Development starts from understanding team alignment within the organization.

Area 4: Mental Resilience & Emotional Agility Training

Mental Health & Mental Resilience Training in the Workplace

Employee training for resilience: a resilient team is not a team that is free from stress — it is a team that continues to function optimally even under pressure.

Mental resilience training helps employees recognize and manage stress responses more consciously, building mental resilience that enables adaptation to change, maintaining work quality, and collaboration under pressure.

Using natural understanding based on MBTI and personality helps employees recognize signs of stress early, support each other in targeted ways, and build a team climate that supports mental health and psychological safety.

Area 5: Creativity, Problem Solving, & Innovation Training

Creative Thinking & Problem Solving Training for Employees

The same way of thinking will always produce the same solutions and the same results. This Creative Thinking-based employee training aligns with industry demands. The World Economic Forum has declared Creative Thinking as a skill everyone must possess as they approach 2030.

Our creative thinking training program helps employees develop an open mindset and avoid getting stuck in routines, apply creative thinking techniques in a structured and practical way, solve complex problems collaboratively both as individuals and in teams, and build a culture of sustainable innovation.

This training helps teams understand decision factors, manage risk, and uncertainty in decision making.

Area 6: Training Team Synergy and Productivity

Team Synergy Training to Build Solid and Productive Teamwork

Employee training for synergy: team synergy isn't about making everyone the same — it's about turning differences into a collective strength.

A truly synergistic team isn't one that always agrees. Rather, it's one that knows how to leverage differences, allocate roles according to strengths, and move together in the same direction despite differing work styles.

The team synergy training program helps teams build shared vision, trust, and real psychological safety.

Using OAM, MBTI, and Lakon data, to manage differences and conflicts constructively, distribute roles based on each member's natural strengths, collaborative work rhythms, and long-term synergies.

Interconnectedness of Phases

Applied MBTI®, Lakon, and OAM:
Framework that Unites Six Areas

We pair our brand frameworks — Applied MBTI®, Lakon (interest and role assessment), and OAM (organizational diagnostic) — with employee training needs and soft skills training, as a foundation for team development and a language that flows across six training areas. As an official certification holder from The Myers-Briggs Company, Inspira Mitologi uses the MBTI ethically, accurately, and practically.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions about Employee Training

Soft skills training is non-technical skills that determine how employees work together: communication, leadership, mental toughness, thinking, and team synergy. At Mitologi Inspira, soft skills training is structured into six core competency areas.

Start with needs, not a list of topics. We first identify the competency areas that are most hindering your team's performance, then select the appropriate employee training program—usually one or two areas first, not all at once.

Yes. Our employee training and soft skills training are designed in-house for companies in Jakarta and other cities and can be tailored to your team's work context.

Yes. Our programs cover staff, supervisor, manager, and leadership levels, with varying content and depth at each level.

We establish indicators from the outset—what work behaviors need to change and how they'll be visible in the field. For sustainable programs, measurement is done incrementally through mentoring, not just a questionnaire at the end of the session.

These six core development areas are the key competency topics every company employee must master to achieve their goals and work in a team. These are the six areas that the World Economic Forum (WEF) believes are increasingly important skills for organizations in the future.

These six competency areas represent the content, while the Team Development Journey represents the sequence—from Diagnose, Discover, Synergy, Solution, to Growth. So, any employee training you choose can be part of a holistic team journey.
