So the training wasn't boring, but really engaging. We learned about public speaking, presentation processes, and management.
In-House Mythology Training Inspira
In-House Training for Companies That Want Lasting Results
Our in-house training is tailored specifically to your team. The material, case studies, and activities are built from your team's own work context, not from a catalog of topics shared across all clients.
Mitologi Inspira is a team development and learning experience consultant in Jakarta. For over 15 years, we've been mentoring corporate teams in their own classrooms: in the office, at selected venues, and online.
Many companies are looking for in-house training providers. The outcome isn't determined by the provider.
The first question we usually receive is whether Mitologi Inspira can provide in-house training for companies. The answer is yes, and every year we run in-house programs for teams, leaders, and employees in mid-sized to enterprise companies. The only thing we change is the workflow.
There are various terms used in the market: in-house training, in-house training, or in-house training. They all mean the same thing: classes held within your company for your own team. We use all three terms interchangeably.
Most in-house training programs begin with a list of topics and then identify topics that best align with the needs. We start with the initial questions: what work barriers are currently facing, and which competency areas are currently holding back the team's performance. Modules are built from those answers.
Therefore, Mitologi Inspira is more accurately read as a team development and learning experience consultant who organizes training, not one who delivers materials and then goes home. We provide our own instruments: the official MBTI assessment, the Lakon Profile, and the Ansaka Organizational Alignment Map. Training needs can be demonstrated with data before a single session is conducted.
Symptoms that Usually Appear at the Beginning of a Conversation
- Important decisions are delayed while waiting for clarity and agreement.
- The meeting went on for a long time, but the conclusions and division of work were unclear.
- Miscommunication between divisions recurs, and work has to be redone.
- Delegation is not working, important things are piling up at the leadership level.
- The conflict is read as an attitude problem, when in fact it is a difference in work style.
- The previous training participants were enthusiastic in class, their behavior returned to normal.
If two or more of the above symptoms seem familiar, the correct order is to first determine the root cause, then select a module. We usually assist with that step.
How We Handle Training:
Serious about the Results, Fun in the Method
Successful in-house training isn't the most dense in content, but the most memorable and reusable. That's why every program operates on the following four principles. This is what we mean by We Make Learning Fun: the process is light, the results are still measurable.
How We Design the Experience
Four layers of design are present in every one of our in-house programs.
1. Official Theory and Assessment
Participants complete an official assessment (MBTI or Lakon) online before the session. Concepts are discussed using the official framework of the licensed individual, not a simplified version available online.
2. Simulation and Insight Activities
More than half of the class time is activities: instructional simulations, split activities, team competitions, and structured debriefs that draw findings into everyday work.
3. Team Type Table
Team personality maps are compiled together on the classroom wall, then used to read collective strengths and gaps that need to be closed.
4. Practical Application
Each session concludes with a real-world application: team plans, role assignments, and work agreements are written and implemented after class.
Team Synergy Training Modules:
Example of a 2 Day In-House Program
Transformative In-House Training
Our flagship in-house program is Applied MBTI in Work and Team Synergy. Participants completed the official MBTI assessment online before the session, then spent two days in class reviewing the results, testing them through activities, and converting them into team work rules. The module structure is as follows, to illustrate how we work.
Day 1: Understanding Yourself and Your Team
Day 2: Leading, Communicating, Maintaining Synergy
Day 1: Understanding Yourself and Your Team
1. Understanding Personality, Self Estimates, and Type ·
- Recognize the four dichotomies of the MBTI and the meaning of each pole.
- Understanding different work styles as patterns, not attitude issues.
- Formulate an initial guess about your own type before the results are opened.
2. Assessment Result and Type Comprehension through Split Activities ·
- Read the results of your personal MBTI assessment and compare them with your initial guess.
- Recognize the strengths and blind spots typical of each type.
- Describe your colleague's work style in neutral and objective language.
3. Type Dynamics, Stressors, Leadership, and Information Styles ·
- Recognize the typical stress triggers of each type in real work situations.
- Understanding the different styles of leading and following between types.
- Applying ways of conveying information according to the recipient's style.
- Understanding the differences in communication styles of each individual.
4. Teamwork and Team Planning with the MBTI Team Type Table ·
- Compile a team synergy map and read its collective strengths and gaps.
- Formulate a division of roles based on the strengths of each member.
- Agree on the rules of communication between the leader and the team.
Day 2: Leading, Communicating, Maintaining Synergy
1. Leadership, Types of Leadership, and Leadership Culture ·
- Understanding that leadership has a style, and that style is personality-based.
- Recognize the leadership culture that has been formed in the team.
- Understand team members' expectations of their leader.
2. Authentic Leadership, Delegation, and Managing Team by Personality ·
- Lead authentically according to your own strengths, not by imitating someone else's style.
- Put people on tasks that suit their style of work.
- Provide feedback in a way that is acceptable to each type.
3. Effective Communication and Communication by Type ·
- Recognize the communication style of each type, including how to receive and convey information.
- Conveying difficult messages without triggering unnecessary conflict.
- Adapt your language to the person you are talking to, rather than demanding that the person you are talking to adapt.
4. Building Communication, Listening, and Emotional Intelligence in Team Synergy ·
- Maintaining quality communication when work pressure increases.
- Recognizing emotional signals within a team before they become friction.
- Use team agreements to prevent recurring problems.
What Your Team Takes Home
- MBTI Team Type Table team, compiled together in class.
- The rules of communication between the leader and the team are agreed upon and signed.
- Real team work plan with strength-based role division.
- Summary of program results and recommendations for follow-up sessions.
The above structure is an example. For sales teams, project teams, cross-functional teams, or management levels, the activity composition can be shifted without changing the overall flow. Single-day versions are also available for specific focuses, such as communication or leadership.

Coach Dedy really knows how to create a lively and exciting atmosphere. With our team's diverse age range, I was worried that some would be receptive and some wouldn't. But everyone enjoyed the session, and it was still a hot topic even at the office!

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions about In-House Training
In-house training is training conducted within your company, for your own team or employees, with material tailored to their work context. Participants come from within the same company, allowing for real-life examples. At Mitologi Inspira, the terms in-house training, in-house training, and in-house training refer to the same format: classes we deliver at your location, not public classes attended by many companies.
Public training is attended by participants from various companies and uses standardized materials. In-house training is designed for a single team or company: the materials, case studies, and activities are tailored to the participants' work situations, and internal discussions can be held without worrying about leaving the room. In-house training is priced per batch, not per person, so larger participant numbers lower the cost per participant.
For an introductory session, a 2.5-hour to half-day seminar is sufficient. For a competency program, a full day is a minimum. To build team synergy through personality understanding, two days provide much better time because participants have time to test their findings before drafting a work agreement. Three days are suitable for a tiered program that combines two competency areas.
One batch is comfortable for 20 to 30 participants so everyone is actively engaged and the facilitator can gauge team dynamics. For larger teams, typically over 40 participants, we break the sessions into multiple batches with the same flow and materials to ensure everyone's experience remains intact. Assessments, if used, are calculated per participant.
In-house training fees are calculated per batch, so the amount depends on the number of participants, duration, location, and depth of the program. Included are: module design for your team's context, facilitator fees, activity design, participant workbooks, and certificates. Official assessments (MBTI or Lakon) and training kits are calculated per participant. Venues, meals, and out-of-town accommodations are usually arranged by the client or coordinated separately. Send us your number of participants and the expected duration, and we'll send you a written estimate on the same business day.
Yes, and that's our standard practice. Before building a module, we explore the team's context: the area of work, the composition of roles, and the most significant obstacles. Class examples are drawn from participants' work, not from general case studies. For deeper needs, we start with assessments like the official MBTI, Lakon Profile, or Ansaka Organizational Alignment Map.
Yes, and that's the format most often chosen by companies. Participants complete the official MBTI assessment online before the session, then the results are opened and reviewed in class. Mitologi Inspira is the official licensed MBTI vendor for Indonesia, with reports based on the official Myers-Briggs Company instrument explained by certified practitioners. In our program, the MBTI is never sold as a test report that ends up on participants' desks.
Indicators are established before the program begins: what work behaviors need to change, and how those changes will be seen in the field. In class, we use pre-post assessments and formulate team action plans with job owners and deadlines. After the program, measurement is done through a summary of results and, if the company wants sustainable results, through regular coaching sessions to enforce that commitment.
